Joan Cusack would never get work if not for her brother, yet she is so enjoyable.
This film is simply a good take the "ailing widow finds help and finds himself in the misfit orphan he adopts" plot. I found John to be a little distant and slightly below optimum charm levels though. Soild "out there" performance by the young fellow.
