Review of Martian Child (2007) by Paul N — 14 Jul 2008
This film is based on a real life story of an adopted foster child who as a coping mechanism believed he was from Mars. It is a fantastic story that has been translated just a brilliantly into film with some adaptations for the medium.
I don't always like John Cusack's film but I really love his acting in this way and all the supporting actors and the other main actor Bobby Coleman honour this "fictionalised true story" well! A great film for parents too, showing the joys and frustrations.
