Review of Martian Child (2007) by Bob S — 23 Jul 2008
A very touching movie linking a man and a boy-without-home by their common bond - feeling "alien"ated in their life on earth. The movie is quite visually appealing including remarkable settings and dazzling displays of light.
I was put off by plenty of phony dialogue. Everyone was talking like they were a shrink trying not to say that one thing that would set off their crazy patient. It didn't seem like the writer was in touch with the man or the boy.
