A young woman escapes an abusive cult and goes back to her family. The theme is the cult never really leaves the person who has left and the psychological damage that remains leaves one paranoid. The film delves into this subject matter as the young woman attempts to live with her family.
Having been a apart of this cult, it is hard to tell what normal behavior is anymore. This is unsettling stuff and contains a riveting performance from Elizabeth Olson.
