Although the nonlinear structure gets confusing at times, Martha Marcy May Marlene is an effectively creepy psychological drama with great performances by youngest Olsen sister Elizabeth Olsen and the always impressive John Hawkes.
As long as you aren't expecting a horror movie or a fast-paced thriller, Martha Marcy May Marlene is a unique and disturbing drama.
