It would be easier to find a needle in a hay stack than find a cliche in this film. What makes Martha Marcy May Marlene so great is it's ability to strike a perfect balance between delivering a gripping and suspenseful story and avoiding all of the stale conventions of cinema.
A star making performance from Elizabeth Olson too.
