The films slight narrative and story ambiguity made it hard for me to really embrace what the filmmaker was trying to achieve. the performances are good, its shot well and its densely atmosheric, but this 2011's winters bone simply doesnt leave a lasting impression, nor match its 2010 spiritual counterpart.
