I've rarely seen so much money and visual design wasted on such a misguided project. The premise is utterly utterly terrifying and the story never misses an opportunity to put the child protagonist in mortal peril that will leave mental scars for the rest of his life not to mention the sheer amount of physical harm he suffers.

This tone is only made worse by the sense of humor which is nothing less than sickening.
