Review of Mars Needs Moms (2011) by Yamanqui T — 12 Aug 2011
This is a wonderful movie to sit down and enjoy with your kids. The people who reviewed and only mentioned the stero-typing in the movie must not have fully watched it through to the end. At points in this movie my two kids went from sitting on their own spots on the sofa, to cuddling with me because of how some of the scenes affected them.
Its amazing to me how a young child can understand the meaning behind a film better then most grown ups. The whole point of the film was to show that things aren't always as black and white as they seem.
Even my 9 and 7 year old got that. And my youngest, who like Milo, complains at having to clean up his room. Told me he loved me and he wouldn't give me a hard time over doing simple things he knows he should do anymore.
(We may have to watch this movie every now and again. You know when he forgets that lesson ;) ).
