I'm a fan of the process that the actors have to undergo for this type of animation, but sometimes it just looks weird. Developing the Martian language (behind the scenes) was quite amazing, too! The movie was cute.

I wasn't too sure about having the kids see some of the sad parts, but it turns out ok. All sorts of interesting ideas about gender, family, love, and even color!
