Review of Mars Attacks! (1996) by Courtney S — 15 Feb 2012
You keep waiting for something funny or at least unexpected to happen but, well, it doesn't. The cast barely tries to act, except Jack Nicholson, who makes it absolutely clear he is bored to death.
I tried to be amused by how young Jack Black, Sarah Jessica Parker and little miss Natalie Portman are. The Martians -no, scratch that- the Martians' *heads* were nicely designed and animated.
