Review of Mars Attacks! (1996) by Vadim D — 19 Jul 2014

This is one of Burton's misfires, and since this film, he's had a few (Planet of the Apes, Dark Shadows), but there are still Burton-esque elements in here that are true to his creative vision.

I understand that this is an homage to a spoof, sci-fi B-film, and there is some fun to have in that, but it's still not a good movie. The jokes are far and few in between and the storyline is all over the place.
