Review of Marnie (1964) by Jake G — 21 Oct 2009
Although not the most memorable film Hitchcock ever made, MARNIE deserves more acclaim than it gets. Sean Connery couldn't be any better, Tippi Hedren is mysterious and sexy, and the film is all-around suspenseful.
One of my favorite moments from Hitchcock's films is in MARNIE- the deaf cleaning lady scene. MARNIE is worth a watch for those interested in Hitchcockian cinema. It has somehow fallen by the wayside, despite its merits.
