Review of Marnie (1964) by Erica H — 20 Sep 2007
Although well directed, this Hitchcock seems to last forever with no end in sight. Hedren's character demonstrated a great deal of issues that came out of nowhere. Still, I waited around until the end to find out what was up--and I'm glad for that.
The ending gives sense to the rest of the movie, and touches on some serious issues. I do believe Hedren's hair is even bigger in this film than in The Birds...
