Review of Marnie (1964) by Timothy S — 14 Dec 2007
Not one of Hitchcock's successes but still layered with power. Sean Connery plays the disturbing and abusive Mark Rutland and Tippi Hedren again plays the waif, albeit this time mentally damaged before the picture starts rather than during.
A troubling picture which leaves many questions unanswered about Mark's manipulative and forceful actions.
