Review of Marnie (1964) by Scott C — 10 Apr 2008
Not a scary Hitchcock film, but there are some moments of genuine suspense. Tippi Hedren, while best remembered for "The Birds," exudes a far greater intensity as the titular thief with tons of baggage.
Sean Connery is rather tepid, and one plot point seems to betray his character. Still, it's a little twisted...and that horse riding accident is pretty impressive after 44 years.
