Review of Marnie (1964) by Lee F — 24 May 2008
A flawed film, but perhaps Hitchcock's best (at least in my view)...a fascinating character study, especially given how Tippi Hedren sleepwalks through the role. In some ways the last example of Hitchcock's middle period.
Worth a viewing for those already enamored of Hitch, though not a great introduction to his works. Surreal.
