Lifeless repackaging of the more annoying psychological elements of "Spellbound" buoyed only by a steady stream of dickish quips by Connery. In the documentary on the DVD Bogdanovich claims that the goofy looking painted backgrounds were Hitchcock's tribute to German Expressionism!!
