My favorite Hitchcock movie of all time, maybe even my favorite movie of all time. Sean Connery is FABULOUS in his role as Mark Rutland, the president of the family publishing company who wanted to be a zoologist.
Tippi Hedren is a little over the top but not bad. The "subpar" cinematography was not an error but a creative choice by the famous director who was a fan of german expressionism and used it extensively in this film.
Essential Hitchcock through and through.
