Review of Marnie (1964) by Ashley C — 11 Apr 2009
A little too Freudian for my taste (read: some misogynistic undercurrents), but still psychologically compelling. It regardless gets points for tackling sexual issues frankly in the waning days of the Hays Code.
Probably the creepiest I've ever seen Sean Connery, doubly so considering his role of white knight by film's end.
