Review of Marnie (1964) by Brandon C — 04 Oct 2010
Sean Connery and Alfred Hitchcock working together??? This is how "real" magic can begin to take shape. The only anchor in this film was not only Tippi Hedren's surprisingly hollow performance; but the ever increasing frailing relationship between Hitch and his composer Bernard Hermann was literally on it's last call.
..Alfred let Bernard go just as his next film "Torn Curtain" was getting underway.
