Review of Marnie (1964) by Andrew I — 08 Oct 2011
Much better than I expected it to be, known as one of the 'disappointing' Hitchcocks. I guessed the denouement early on, but at no point was it ever boring, and some of the acting, writing and arty direction/camerawork was as good as any.
Hardly a barrel of laughs though and it is rather like a longer, colour remake of Spellbound.
