Review of Marmaduke (2010) by Tom T — 26 Sep 2010
Suprisingly entertaining! A lot to cater for both kids and adults with plenty of suggestive material touching on both the drug and sex fronts but easily clearing the heads of the younger viewers. Marmaduke's amusing sense of serendipity sets the pace for the movie.
However in one of the family scenes, the dog seems to be talking to himself and everyone else while his owner is talking handsfree and to his family who are all individually conversing..gasp..the cross dialogue could be a little confusing for the younger target audience.
I just couldn't help but think of Wilson's last animal outing in Marley and Me and whether this had anything to do with that...hmmm...
