I avoided this movie for a long time, as I'm not a fan of dogs, and I heard it was sad. But it surprised me, and is an excellent movie, even for non-dog lovers! In fact, I'd say it was Owen and Jennifer's best performances, and I think this movie will stand the test of time to become a classic.
It's that good because it has such heart! It's not a movie I'd watch again and again, but I'd recommend it to anyone.
