Being a white girl from the Midwest, of course I should like Bob Marley. But liking Bob Marley always seemed so cliched, so obvious--he's like Elvis. And since I never lived in the dorms or smoked a lot of pot, I always just appreciated him from afar and left it at that.
Therefore, this movie taught me a lot I didn't know. It's very well done, with friends, family, and band members all contributing interviews, and lots and lots of video footage. Worth watching.
