Review of Marilyn Hotchkiss' Ballroom Dancing & Charm School (2006) by Ricardo H — 21 Oct 2007

I like movies with dancing themes in them, and I was looking forward to watching this one. Unfortunately, although it was a good story and had some very good acting (including some surprising cameo appearances), the movie felt like it was just skimming the surface, without enough depth for the multiple characters involved.

It was a good try, but like with any recipe, even if you use the most expensive or good ingredients, unless you know how to follow the receipe and be original, you'll end up with something bland.
