Maybe I was just very susceptible to this type of movie the particular evening we watched it on DVD (it was never on circuit here), but found it one of the best and my ultimate favourites. It has drama, comedy, and a lot of heart in a carefully designed package.
It has excellent character development, and all the actors excelled. A very charming film that will get you crying. Enjoy when you are in the mood for some serious movie, and not light entertainment. I did not even know about this film, and got it rented on luck.
