Review of Marie Antoinette (2006) by Royr — 23 Oct 2006
Sophia Coppola is a daring filmmaker. She created a movie about a historical figure and made it as dull, shallow, boring and uninteresting as humanely possible. She is a punk at heart. I have a difficult time understanding the people who defend this movie.
I liked Lost in Translation and I am a fan of deliberately paced movies. This was plain horrendous.
