Review of Maria Full of Grace (2004) by Chris S — 20 Oct 2008
When she is fed up with her job in floral services and finds that she is pregnant, a young woman is suddenly forced to work as a mule, and the audience can't help but want her to not get caught by the authorities because despite her immoral and reckless decisions, she is someone to care for and sympathize with.
And even though she isn't close to the other woman who passes away, she shows her selfless and generous side. This is more effective than the film Requiem for a Dream.
