Review of Maria Full of Grace (2004) by Andhika B — 25 Mar 2010
Gritty, and awful depiction of columbian drug trafficker. One thing about this film that really grab me is, unlike Blow, or Scarface, which is trying to say that being a drug dealer is cool, but this film shows different angle, by taking the naive young women who smuggled the drug by swallowed it into her stomach.
This is a nightmare, a great back to back companion watching with Requiem for a Dream !
