Review of Maria Full of Grace (2004) by Marta I — 13 May 2008

A really interesting look at the world of drug trafficking from drug mules' point of view.-shows how the 'western high' is strongly connected to the lives of those less fortunate and desperate enough to take life-threatening risks.

In this movie, though, Maria didn't create much sympathy in me but rather showed naiivety. I wasn't fully convinced by the ending either. Otherwise, the movie was well-written and acted. And best of all, made you think about things and stuff.
