Review of Margot at the Wedding (2007) by Jennifer S — 30 Jun 2008
Complex, intriguing characters, but overall has a pretty bland, circular plot; I got the feeling that nothing really happened during the course of this film. Jack Black gives an amusing performance as Jennifer Jason Leigh's pathetic fiance, and the increasingly poisonous exchanges between Nicole Kidman's character and her son are excruciating to watch.
But again, not a very satisfying film.
