Review of Margot at the Wedding (2007) by Alex M — 26 Jul 2008
This star-studded melodrama tries and misses, tries and misses, and ends up feeling like a deleted scenes reel from the director's previous (and far superior) film, "The Squid and The Whale." However, the film does establish a tone and adheres confidently, and is commendable in that it dodges many dreary art-film cliches.
