Review of Margot at the Wedding (2007) by Roxie D — 26 Aug 2008
The characters were infuriating, the dysfunctional family dynamic was disturbing and Jack Black's character could have been a little more believable, however it was incredibly engaging. I felt for the character of Margot more than i've felt for any character in any other film i've seen this year.
A good and misunderstood person with flaws which are highlighted and exposed for everyone to see and criticise. A brutally honest portrayal of humanity in it's most negative of states. Loved it.
