Review of Margot at the Wedding (2007) by Siel O — 18 Jan 2009
I really liked Baumbach's Squid and the Whale, and this started off well, but disappeared into a weak NYC upper east side Jewish melodramedy, that doesn't hold a candle to Woody Allen, Hannah and her Sisters did the dysfunctional family better than this, it felt very miscast.
Though with good moments.
