Review of Margot at the Wedding (2007) by Kieran K — 04 Feb 2009
I think dysfunctional family drama has a way of keeping the audience interested in the plot, particularly when the protaganist is so neurotic. But when you get to the end of the movie and find that there's actually no ending, you feel frustrated and shortchanged. That's how I felt at the end of watching this.
The performances were great (especially Leigh) but I'm not sure if there's really any point to the story?
