Review of Margot at the Wedding (2007) by Jingbo W — 23 May 2009
Very different film - I didn't know what to expect. It was so sad, without really telling us the exact reasons why. There was some funny parts too. It seemed so true to life, that people who experience a bad childhood obviously aren't left un-scarred, but it's normal to them, and they don't really dwell on things, thinking they are normal.
But their insecurities are passed along nonetheless. I thought the acting was really good, and everything fit.
