Review of Margot at the Wedding (2007) by Amie H — 08 Nov 2009
Ouch. Acid-tongued. Razor-tongued. Call it what you want. Kidman's Margot is slice-you-with-a-knife-pour-lemon-juice-in-the-wound-funny. Only funny isn't quite the right word. What's it called when someone is so incredibly inappropriate (but absolutely dead-on) that it makes you gasp-wince-snort-laugh? THAT is Kidman's Margot.
Props to Leigh and Black, too.
Crazy little film.
