There isn't a pleasant, wholly likable character in the cast. But you can't avert your eyes from it. There is a rawness to the characterization in this lacerating film that pushes family drama right to the edge.
"Margot at the Wedding" is, in no way, an easy movie for people to watch and it's definitely a movie that everyone will have a violent reaction to. For me, the reaction was positive, I found the film terribly distressing but overall, really well done.
