Extremely interesting and unpleasant viewing. None of these characters are all that likable, and they all seem to know it, one way or another. Although it gets mired in the hypocrisy and mean-spirited gossip of these characters, Baumbach succeeds in making us feel like members of this nightmare family; watching everyone go their own way without really considering others.
