Review of Margot at the Wedding (2007) by George W — 30 Aug 2010
I honestly think I might've been able to get into this film more had Kidman's Margot character not been so self-serving and casually cruel to those around her, including her own son, which naturally made her less than sympathetic throughout. Even the end of the film, which seemingly attempts to redeem her a bit didn't really sell me 100%, but it's still a very watchable film and worth a look for fans of indie dramas.
Rental.
