Review of Margot at the Wedding (2007) by Annette D — 29 Mar 2011
A psychologically screwed-up family that genuinely captures some sibling and parenting dynamics.
The characters aren't that likable with all their flaws, but they feel genuine and relatable, and the cast does a good job all around. Though it's Black who steals the show. Even though it's a more serious role for him, everything he does is hilarious.
The end left me wanting more. There wasn't much of an emotional resolution, and at no point were there any profound realizations for the audience.
