Review of Margin Call (2011) by Rob B — 03 Feb 2012
Starts out so full of promise - at last you think a good adult drama. Kevin Spacy is on form, Jeremy Irons is hit and miss, although his speech at the end about the real role of the money men is carried off well.
Demi Moore looks lost in this - not a good role for her. The second half starts to wane - and all the energy drains from the movie three quarters of the way through. Although the final scene is put together well you are left with a strange emptiness - so close on this one but not quite there.
Pity.
