Review of Margin Call (2011) by Kieran L — 24 Apr 2012
This film was so well made and brilliantly executed. If you do not understand ow the financial system circa 2008 was working, you need not fear. This film does not try to bore and confuse you with numbers and figures and tries to explain how the market works.
Rather, it is a brilliant look at how the whole ship was sunk by the very people who's responsibility was to steer it in the right direction and how they CHOSE to not see disaster coming. It's a great thriller/drama.
MUST watch!
