Review of Margin Call (2011) by Paul L — 17 Nov 2012
A slow burning but engaging and thought-provoking drama that has more in common with Glegarry Glen Ross that Wall Street. Greed Mr Gekko is not so good after all. Kev Spacey, Jez Irons, Demi Moore and even Spock junior himself Zachary Quinto give superb performances, but it's Paul Bettany who stands out, if only for adding Worcester Sauce to his omelette, and telling the passenger in his Austin Martin to "not touch any of the buttons".
Don't be put off that this has the word "slow" in the review â" it's all the more rewarding for it.
