Review of Margin Call (2011) by Choo T — 30 Nov 2012
Wow! This was really good. I had never heard of it until it popped up on my Netflix recommendations (a hit amongst many misses in that regard). Top of the line acting all around, including a somewhat awkward and unique role for Zachary Quinto (aka: Spock, and Sylar for Heroes fans).
While I think the movie is very engaging, I would not lump this film in the genre of thriller. Especially if thrillers are movies like "The Game" and "Taken", or even the likely comparison with "Wall Street", which is closer but still more physically intense than "Margin Call".
