Review of Margin Call (2011) by Lilianetty L — 11 Jan 2013
It is a very slow paced movie (kinda boring really). It's about the crisis of US (Wall Street 2008 anyone?). Still in 2013 32 states are in crisis (and that makes it the best on Earth? I don't think so anymore, it's just that, a piece of Earth filled with people who doesn't know how to make thinks right, get more money, banks benefit and the homeless and poor don't). I would say more but it's not fair, since the Earth is not the one to say "you are guilty", it's the humans own guilt for not doing an effort to make things right, help each other, stop being so selfish/egoista/hipocrita.
3 stars of 5 (sorry, not my fave movie at any cost, even if critiques love it and people in this business too). The acting was great, the story-telling is kind of ok also, but the rhythm/tempo is slow paced...and sometimes slow movies don't do great in the industry of films/TV/theater (unless their is a middle to rest/intermedio as we call it sometimes in many places, or the people living it likes it (like the mayority of the critiques in this world...perhaps the OSCAR old people who thinks we love the movies they nominate, but the truth is NO).
