Review of Margin Call (2011) by Iggy A — 27 Apr 2014
Exactly what I'd expect from a bunch of rich Hollywood white men treated like royalty wherever they go (as they feel like they deserve it) who love to preach to us about brotherhood and income inequality. Hollywood BS. Rich white liberal male thought-masturbation.
When they got to that car scene where the blond preaches Hollywood's definition of what capitalism is all about, and I heard "The only reason that they all get to continue living like kings is cause we got our fingers on the scales in their favor. I take my hand off and then the whole world gets really fuckin' fair really fuckin' quickly and nobody actually wants that." I wanted to shout out "Go f- yourself." You make freakin movies for a living. What the heck gives you the right to complain about money someone in (a different) big business made?
Get together with Kevin Spacey and fly down on his private jet to hug Hugo Chavez and shut up. Does it not make you pause to wonder why working-class America finds you rich Hollywood-types such hypocrites?
