Review of Margin Call (2011) by Alex W — 22 May 2014

This movie reminds me of a movie like glengarry glenn ross for a few reasons. Its heavy dialogue between people in business suits talking about money trouble and kevin spacey is there. Anther similarity is its filled with great acting in very well written scenes.

While the scenes and lines themselves aren't super memorable they are all very engaging. Also a very impressive debut film for Chandor, made even more impressive by softmore film "all is lost" which is a very different film from this.

This is a movie that relies purely on its writing and directing and both were excellent. "If you're first out the door, that's not called panicking. ".
