Review of Margin Call (2011) by Brook Y — 31 Mar 2012

Loosely based on the events that preceded the 2008 Financial Crisis within a nameless investment bank, Margin Call presents a storyline that grows in interest and suspense. Even without a knowledge of the financial jargon that is so integral to the plot, the staggering numbers of dollars with which they are dealing, creates a gripping tale undercut with a moral dilemma.

Impressive cinematography, great cast and performances, however, the ending could have been more satisfying.
